The Graduate Teaching Fellows Federation (AFT Local 3544) expresses solidarity with the striking faculty members at Oregon Institute of Technology. We are proud that former GTFF leaders Ellen Kress and Malori Musselman are part of this effort as organizers with the American Association of University Professors (AAUP).
GTFF urges the OIT administration to negotiate in good faith and agree to a contract that provides fair wages, benefits, and workload limits for faculty. We also call on community members and political representatives to show support on the picket line for these faculty members and their union, the Oregon Tech-AAUP.
