Mediation sessions are officially starting! We’ll be in mediation with UO all day on October 4 and October 9 in the FASS (Finance and Administration Shared Services) building. Unfortunately, UO is not allowing us to reserve membership space in this building on those dates (and we have asked them to stop scheduling in that building for future dates as a result).
Instead, GTFF members who want to get updates on mediation throughout the day can drop by our office at 609 E. 13th Ave. any time between noon and 5pm on Wednesday 10/4. A Contract Action Team member will be waiting to greet you and let you know what’s happened so far! We’ll have a livetweet thread displayed in the room (also available at twitter.com/gtff_3544), and the GTFF Bargaining Team will periodically zoom in to give us updates on what’s happening.
Additionally, we’ll have some fun contract action tasks, such as button-making and flyering, prepared for members to participate in if they’d like to do so. We hope to see you there!
UPDATE: During mediation on Monday, October 9, we’ll be holding a GE Work-In from 12-5pm at the EMU Food Court (in front of the Crater Lake Room). Wear your GTFF shirt, bring your laptop/work, and set up to make our labor visible to the University of Oregon!
