CAS ‘continuity planning’ shows UO is getting nervous

On August 21, deans of the College of Arts and Sciences sent a letter to department heads requesting “continuity plans”—an attempt to break our power if our members decide to strike. It’s important to know that faculty can refuse to take on GE work, and we’re working in solidarity with the faculty union, United Academics UO, to make sure that both faculty and GEs are prepared for those union-busting tactics. You can read our annotated copy of the letter below, or click here to download it.
