Attached is a report of the bargaining session on April 11th. It covers topics discussed at the session including testimony by a GTFF member on layoffs, a review of counter proposals submitted by the GTFF, an overview of the GTFF Health and Welfare Trust report completed for this session and a look at the financial estimates presented by the Administration. You can get the summary here.
Another bargaining session was held on April 18th and a review of that session is forthcoming.
The next bargaining session is on April 25th at 3pm in Lillis 112. Prior to that session, at noon there will be Rally outside Johnson Hall in support of GTFF bargaining. Please come out to that so the Administration knows they are not just trying to please the 6 people sitting across from them at the table, but they are answering to a group of 1,500. Between the rally and bargaining session, from 1pm until 3pm in Allen 221, will be a forum on another issue that the GTFF holds deep in its heart: student debt. Listen to speakers address the serious issue of student financial debt and eat some free food. Join the GTFF in a Day of Action as it works to improve the lives of GTFs and all students everywhere.
