It’s time to start planning for the Great Cover-up!
Each year, the GTFF hosts a Great Cover-up night to raise money for Food for Lane County. Our members form cover bands and put on 20 minute sets to the enjoyment of all. We’ve had bands cover Bon Jovi, Lady Gaga, Bill Withers, Nirvana, The Flying Burrito Brothers, and on and on. We pack Lucky’s, raise some money, and have a good time.
Of course, we need the bands to make it successful. If you are at all interested in performing, even if you don’t have a band (good drummers and bassists are always in demand, and every band can make room for a well-played theremin) let Wes Shirley know.
This year it is especially important that you let us know as soon as possible if you want to play. If we have enough bands, we might stretch the event over two nights and we’d need to get booking now.
