The GTFF is a Member-run Union, meaning participation is key! There are many levels of participation, ranging from joining as a Full Member to running for a leadership position.
We recommend looking at the links below for information on joining caucuses, finding out what social and organizing events we have on our calendar, and more!
In addition to talking to your fellow union members in person, you can participate in your union online! For online and private conversations about everything from union organizing to tips on local housing ad healthcare, we highly recommend members join the GTFF members-only Slack. Slack has the most frequent and detailed conversations between members, but another members-only communication option is the GTFF private Facebook Group (be sure to answer all new member questions so we can confirm your member status).
