We are seeking dynamic members to join our communications committee. Help plan and decide what our messaging to members and to our community should be!
Rita Ludwig, the VP of Operations, is seeking a few good individuals who have interest in drafting resolutions to be sent to the state convention for our parent organization, AFT-OR. The committee will meet once every couple of weeks for about one hour until the convention in early May. Help shape not only this union's future, but the future of unions across the state of Oregon! Build Strong Unions Statewide Summit Call for attendees
Sunday, March 4 – 10:00am – 4:00pm Salem Convention Center.
The GTFF is seeking two representatives from our union to attend this one day summit! Contact Larissa, VP of Political Education if you are interested in attending this event.
Please join union leaders, member leaders and staff from across the state on Sunday March 4 at our Build Strong Unions Statewide Solidarity Summit. With arguments in the Janus v. AFSCME case scheduled for February 26 this is a critical moment in our movement to stand together, strategize and plan our next move.
