Pack the
Board of Trustees Meeting!

Let's take up the public comment portion of the Board of Trustees meeting to oppose the proposed "retention package" (including a $100,000 bonus) they're voting on awarding to President Schill.

The UO administration can apparently find $100,000 more for Schill, but not the money to pay workers better or to support international GEs. This is mismanagement of funds, plain and simple, and the Board of Trustees should hear from us about it as we remind them to chop from the top!

We will be meeting at the union office at 8:30am to march together to the Ford Alumni Center. Feel free to meet us there at 9:00am or anytime thereafter. We will be signing up to speak during the public comment portion of the meeting.

Caucuses & Committees

Find solidarity in a caucus or a committee!

Caucuses and committees are open to all members, and they're a great way to play to your strengths and connect with folks in our union in a setting much smaller than a GMM.  Existing caucuses and committees can be found here and our bylaws provide for the formation of ad hoc caucuses and committees. Email equity@gtff.net (Michelle) for more info or with questions!

Disability Access Caucus

The Disability Access Caucus will be meeting Friday, Dec. 6 at 5:30pm at the GTFF Office. Contact disabilityaccessgtff@gmail.com with questions or for ways to get involved!

People of Color Caucus

The People of Color Caucus will be meeting on Monday, December 9th from 12-2pm. The meeting agenda will remain open for submissions until 48 hours before the meeting, at which point it will be posted on the caucus website. Minutes for our last meeting may also be found there. Key agenda items for our upcoming meeting will be discussing meeting and plans for winter term, and holding a vote to make our caucus charter official.

Also, check out this article about the caucus that appeared in the Daily Emerald!
