Communications Committee

Hello, all!

First of all, thank you to those who contributed to the Second Bargaining Session's success! We had over 100 Members show up on the last day of finals week before Winter Break!

While many people's ideas and efforts went into preparing for before, during, and after the session, I would like to thank the following people in particular for their contributions:

  Teresa Caprioglio (note-taking)

Kisa Clark (photography)
Nikki Cox (tabling)
Ricardo Friaz (tabling)
Lou Ginart (live Tweeting)
Hyunsoo Lee (photography)
JP Lempke (livestreaming, note-taking)

If I have left anyone out, please let me know so that I can give them the proper props!

Secondly, as we should all know, the Third Bargaining Session is scheduled for this Friday, 1/18 from 11:00am to 3:00pm.

While I would love to be able to meet with all of you lovely people before then, there is not enough time!

However, we still need your talent! If you are able to volunteer some time to take notes, take photos, table, livestream, or Live Tweet, please place your name on this form:

The empty white cells signify the ideal number of individuals for each task. More people may sign up for any task than there are open cells (we'll take all the help you're willing to give!).

Please let me know if you have any questions or if you have limited availability during the bargaining session.

Finally, I would like to learn more about you!

Please fill out the following survey about your interests, experience, relationships to the community, and availability for the Winter Term:

Whenever a common meeting time makes itself known, I will schedule the first CommsComm meeting of Winter!

I'm so excited to work with you all again soon and see how we can make our union the best it can be!
