Bargaining Teach-In

Bargaining Teach-In

Hello Friends,

We are launching a Teach-In next week! Many of our students have questions about bargaining, and I’ve heard from many of you that you’re not sure what you can say, or how to say it.

We’ve included a set of slides for you to use right before your class or sections begin to help share answers to frequently asked questions using a unified language so to ensure that students better understand our fight for a fair contract, because our working conditions are their learning conditions

At this link you will find a folder containing slides to use in class, the FAQ sheet, & a PDF of a student support petition that they can sign if they’d like and other resources. We will also have hard copies of the petition and “I <3 GE” buttons in the union office, so stop by and pick some up!

The goal of this initiative is to help make our campus community aware of our bargaining cycle while simultaneously building solidarity.

Please do no hesitate to contact me with questions or concerns.
